An idea to supplement or replace worthless PvE double weekends like "dye" and "lockpicks" - throw us some double weekends focused on a particular elite area. E.G.

Factions Elite Missions Weekend - double faction and chest rewards for The Deep/Urgoz Warren.

Realm of the Gods Weekend - double chest rewards and ecto/shard drops for The Underworld and Fissure of Woe

Domain of Anguish Weekend - double chest gems (+ mob gem drop rate?) & lightbringer faction from bounties.

Slavers Weekend - double deldrimor faction & chest drops. Could make it general "dungeon" weekend too.

Some of this might be dangerous to the jokeconomy, the exact rewards could be different. The point is just to get the few people left in the game to come together and do the same missions around the same time, whether it's pugs or directionless guilds. Yeah it will be used for farming but, so is everything else, this might actually encourage some cooperative play too.

There are many guilds who do alot of runs and activities, just join one

i don't think ectos would be slahed in half for one weekend event out of a year.

after all ectos only hold there value due to lack of gold able to trade/hold. Gold standard ftw ;D

/notsigned as long as UWSC exists. Once shit gets nerfed to where it doesn't take 10 minutes to get to the end chest, maybe.

There was a 'constant favour and free god realm entry' weekend a few years back. Probably wouldn't effect the UWSCers much, but it might encourage more people to give it a go without having parties that are sure to succeed.

Everything that drops from the UW chest is dropping (if it hasnt already dropped) in price. Giving the permas double chance to get an E blade or whatever isnt going to help. There are too few "rare" or "prestigous" items in PvE as it is so lets try and keep their value atleast.

The double faction however does sound interesting

Well I think Anet found a way to do this with the Zaishen Quests, except on a daily basis. The quests pay out Zaishen Coins that are exchanged for various things including zkeys, allowing them to control the economy issues. I assume there's some kind of limitation on how often you can repeat these in one day too, so no overfarming problems. Bounties have already been mentioned for urgoz and kanaxi, so toss in mallyx or any of the anguish lords, duncan and co, UW/FoW bosses and that'll do the job. Although I'd still love double luxon faction.
